Focus Population
- Involved with the Criminal Justice System
Provides individualized support to help individuals gain the skills and tools needed for long-term, sustainable employment. Delivers one-on-one guidance through the job search process, with a focus on real opportunity, and access to practical tools. Offers GED/High School Diploma assistance; Soft skills development: communication, self-awareness, attitude, and professional dress; Customer service and people skills training; Resume building and job readiness coaching; Computer literacy and digital skills; Financial literacy education; Job placement assistance and direct connections to employers; Ongoing mentoring and motivational support; and Wraparound services tailored to your needs.
Providing organization
STRIVE Initiatives
Provides Housing Assistance, Family Reunification Services, Mentoring Services, and Workforce Development Services to individuals who are returning home from a State Correctional Institute. Re-entrants who are on State Parole are eligible for the above-mentioned services and receive referrals from their Parole Agents.
