Eligibility
Families with a child or adolescent age birth to 17 who is perceived to
be at risk of maltreatment because of substance abuse issues. Must
reside in Lehigh or Northampton County. May or may not be active for
ongoing service within the county child welfare agencies.

Provides an in-home clinical & case management service designed to eliminate the destructive impact of substance abuse problems within families. Comprehensive and coordinated intensive clinical and case management services are provided to families in which children or adolescents are identified as being at risk of child maltreatment, due to substance abuse issues within the family. Any family member or caregiver may be identified as experiencing a substance use disorder. Primary outcome benefits are alleviation of the risk of abuse and neglect of a child or adolescent and the elimination of substance abuse behaviors for the affected individual.
