Provides home rehabilitation and assistance for homeowners. Assistance includes bringing the home into compliance with the City of Erie codes for plumbing, electrical, and building, as well as controlling any lead-based paint hazards which may exist.

Eligibility
Must live in home as a primary residence. Meet U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development income guidelines. Complete 8 hours of homebuyer counseling with a HUD Certified Counseling Agency. Be able to contribute $1,000-$1,500 of their own funds toward the purchase. First-time homebuyers must not have owned a home in the last three years. Mobile homes, land contracts/rent to-own and multi-unit properties are not eligible. Must be a single-family dwelling. Property must be located within the City of Erie limits and it must be your primary residence.
