Eligibility
The applicant must be at least 18 years old. The applicant must have been
a lawful permanent resident of the United States for a continuous
five-year period. The applicant must be able to read, write, and speak
basic English. Applicant must have knowledge of U.S. history and
government; and must be a person of good moral character—for example,
one who has paid his/her taxes and has not been convicted of a serious
crime.
