Administers and coordinates all activities related to the probation process. Provides information to aid the courts in sentencing and release decisions, enforces court-ordered conditions of supervision, reduces the risk offenders pose to the public, and helps offenders to become responsible and productive law-abiding citizens. Prepares pre-sentence reports for the courts and collects fines, costs and restitution.
