Provides an evidence-based home visiting model which stresses the importance of a parent's role as the primary teacher for their child. Home visits include lessons in parenting skills and education as well as information and referrals for other identified needs in the household. Additionally, weekly parent-child group communication meetings are offered. Group meetings offer participating families to continue to work on their parent-child interaction skills as well as meeting with and socializing with other parents in programming.
