Habitat for Humanity - Sweat Equity Program
Provides an opportunity for veterans to serve locally with other veterans to assist those in need of quality housing. This program invites Veterans and their families to apply for necessary home repairs or modifications including interior and exterior accessibility modifications.

Eligibility
Veterans and military families that own and occupy their home. To qualify, families must earn below 80% of Allegheny Countyâs gross median income.

Creates affordable home ownership opportunities with and for low income families. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses alongside homeowner partner families. ReStores offer quality used and surplus building materials at a fraction of normal prices. Proceeds from the sales help to fund the construction of Habitat houses within local communities.
