Serves as a clearinghouse of information on volunteerism in Lancaster County. Provides the following services: - Administers Get Connected, a web-based volunteer matching application for individuals, nonprofit agencies and corporations - Administers Corporate Volunteer Network - Recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies - Publishes bi-weekly newspaper column advocating volunteerism - Promotes volunteer recognition - Publishes directories listing volunteer opportunities - Provides volunteer management assistance for agencies - Administers the Student Volunteer Program which recruits and refers students to summer opportunities - Recruits volunteers for educational entities, e.g. Service Learning, Book Challenge, H.O.S.T.S., etc. - Works to connect individuals to Community Service sentence volunteer opportunities - Serves as link to national organizations addressing volunteerism - Administers th
