Eligibility

Must be a resident of Luzerne or Wyoming counties. Must be age 60 years old or older (or will turn 60 by December 31, 2025). Income limits per household: 1 person ($28,953), 2 person ($39,128), 3 person ($49,303), 4 person ($59,478), 5 person ($69,653), 6 person ($79,828)

Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm Senior Farmers Market Vouchers will be distributed in June 2025.

Application process

Distribution will begin in June 2025 and will be in person only, with no applications necessary, just proof of address and age. Check intake website for dates and times. If an eligible senior is physically unable to attend a distribution event in person, a proxy can act in their place, with a completed proxy form. Blank Proxy forms to print can be found on intake website or can be mailed upon request. A person may be a proxy for up to four (4) persons

Description

Provides vouchers for the purchase of fresh fruits and vegetables that are grown locally. Each eligible senior will receive (5) $5.00 voucher to redeem at an approved local Farmers' Market.
