  • Mental Illness
A 24-hour emergency mental health service provided for persons experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal or homicidal thoughts. Staff can assist in assessing what a person needs to alleviate the immediate crisis and then link them to appropriate services. This can be completed by phone, an outreach to the person's location or the person coming to the office. Services include: Referrals to other needed services Suicide prevention information The authority to arrange involuntary/voluntary commitments to inpatient mental health units at local hospitals Mobile outreach services will be able to travel to people in crisis, as available Provide assessments for persons experiencing suicidal ideation, homicidal or aggression, mental status change, as well as, complete mental health assessments
