Dollar Energy Fund - Hardship Programs through Participating Utility Companies

Assists customers of participating utility companies through grants applied directly to their past-due utility bill. Please visit the website or see below for the list of participating utility companies and to learn how to apply. Applicants can only receive one grant per utility, per program year (October 1 through September 30).

Dollar Energy Fund Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 8:00pm Community Based Organization Office Intake/Application hours vary.

Application process

Visit the website or call for details and instructions for applying through a Community Based Organization (CBO). Customers of some utility companies can complete part or all of the application on the Dollar Energy Fund website. PLEASE NOTE: PECO and PPL are NOT participating companies. Please reach out to them directly to learn about their internally-managed hardship programs.

Eligibility

Income guidelines and recent payment history requirements vary by utility company. Visit the website and select the utility company with which you need help to see details. Account holder must live in the home for which they are seeking assistance.
