Eligibility

Clients must: A) Be at least 18 years old B) Live in Allegheny county C) Be prescribed psychotropic medication by the agency or consulting psychiatrist D) Be in need of community-delivered psychiatric nursing services to prevent the need for more restrictive levels of care and to improve community tenure

Hours

24-hour service.

  • Mental Illness
Provides the same level of care that individuals would receive at an outpatient clinic at home. Offers education, hands on training, and on-going support to ensure the necessary level of care. A nurse is on staff and is able to administer medication if needed and act as a liaison with the prescriber.
