Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania - Eastern PA Administrative Office - Growing Green Summer Camp
A week-long (Sunday-Friday) overnight camp held in the Poconos for children (age 10 and older) and adults with disabilities. Campers gain environmental awareness and learn organic gardening in specially designed gardens while also enjoying traditional camp activities like hiking, canoeing, sports, arts and crafts, campfires and swimming. An optional employment track is available for campers who want to explore work experiences. Campers sign up for one or more weeks. 2025 session dates: Week 1: June 29 – July 4 Week 2: July 6 - 11 Week 3: July 13 - 18 Week 4: July 20 - 25 Week 5: July 27 - August 1 Week 6: August 3-8

Creates life-changing solutions for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, autism and other social, sensory and developmental disorders and their families through a variety programs designed to increase independence, maximize opportunities, minimize barriers and enhance quality of life. Provides Early Intervention services for children starting at birth and provides free developmental screenings to ensure early identification of potential delays when it is most critical. Offers summer day camps and overnight camp; weekend respite camp; autism diagnostic clinic; ABA therapy coaching for parents of children with autism; community supports/habilitation for adults; and employment preparation program for high school students.
