Public Transportation Access

Open to individuals age 18 and older who are not currently employed. Serves those who face barriers to employment such as poverty, low educational attainment, criminal background, past addiction, transitioning from homelessness, etc. Special focus on people who need immediate employment (such as court mandated or refugees).
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Program hours may vary.

Training provided free of charge. Stipends are provided along with bus passes, daily meals, and uniforms.

Description

Offers four to eight-week training program in the culinary field. Upon successful completion of the training, students will be placed into industry employment. Stipends and bus passes provided during training.

Provides culinary-based on-the-job training, transitional employment and support to individuals with barriers to employment. Individuals coming out of incarceration or currently in halfway houses are encouraged to enroll.
