Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania - Eastern PA Administrative Office - ABA Therapy Coaching for Parent
Offers Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy coaching for parents of children with autism throughout northeast Pennsylvania. ABA is a type of therapy that helps improve communication and social interactions, develop new skills, and support positive behavior. Families can receive a free, one-on-one consultation with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst that includes six one-hour long sessions: (1) Introduction to ABA; (2) Learn what autism is and how it relates to ABA; (3) Verbal behaviors and communication strategies; (4) The basics of ABCs and the functions of behavior; (5) ABA techniques for common behaviors; and (6) A personalized plan of available services. All coaching sessions are done through a secure online platform using videoconferencing. The program is provided at no cost to families thanks to funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Provides Early Intervention services for children starting at birth and provides free developmental screenings to ensure early identification of potential delays when it is most critical. Offers summer day camps and overnight camp; weekend respite camp; autism diagnostic clinic; ABA therapy coaching for parents of children with autism; community supports/habilitation for adults; and employment preparation program for high school students.
