Establishes the assessed value of all properties located in Lancaster County for local property tax purposes. A complete countywide assessment is conducted every eight years.

The Parcel Query Tool, available free through the County's homepage displays assessment data
Calling the office for assistance in obtaining information
Purchasing selected data on CD-ROM or annual subscription
Parcel Viewer CD-ROM available for a fee includes maps and assessment data
Property assessments may be appealed annually on or before August 1.

County of Lancaster
The County acts as an agent of the Commonwealth for those functions which are specified by State law. To carry out those functions, three County Commissioners are elected every four years. The Commissioners serve as the managers and administrators of County government, name citizens to boards, commissions and authorities and award contracts.
