Provides information on the procedure and process to people facing legal problems, as well as information on how to get an attorney. Offers forms and instruction packets for custody, divorce, name change, etc., and also has research materials for other types of cases. Serves as a resource for the public to research rules and law, and obtain assistance from staff with basic procedures in some civil matters.

Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm; Closed to walk in visits on Wednesdays but available by appointment for Zoom meetings.

Application process

Email to schedule an appointment, either in person or via Zoom. Walk-ins are always welcome.. Must fill out an intake form upon arrival. ATTENTION: No cell phones, pagers, weapons, or cameras are permitted in the York County Judicial Center. Please see the YCJC website for a full list of prohibited items.

Fee

Fees to purchase packets in center, range from $1.00 - $5.00
