Description

Assists churches in starting volunteer health ministry programs that will thrive and serve the congregation; serves as a Resource Center to provide consultation, support and mentoring, ideas and materials for health ministry; provides the Parish Nurse and Health Minister Basic Preparation Course, curriculum endorsed by the Westberg Institute for Faith Community Nursing; Conducts health ministry workshops to educate and train volunteers; promotes faith community nursing as a vital ministry of the church.

With many neighborhood locations, Mercy Behavioral Health offers a full range of services, including crisis intervention, outpatient therapy, day programs, residential and respite programs, education and prevention, all designed to help people thrive in the community.
