Description
Offers psychological evaluation, assessment, and treatment services to students and their families. Diagnostic evaluation helps uncover issues that impact children's learning, such as difficulty focusing or attention, trouble with learning concepts in school, or test-related anxiety. Assessment and treatment of mental health concerns can address problems such as anxious or depressed mood, low self-esteem, or trouble getting along with others. Staff have expertise in learning issues, developmental and clinical psychology, and professional counseling.

Laughlin Children's Center
Provides academic support, including Orton Gillingham tutoring for students with dyslexia; speech-language and occupational therapy; psychological services; and preschool education. Provides assessments for children in need of support services centered on academic, psychological and/or speech-language or occupational therapy needs. Services include screenings, evaluations, tutoring, counseling, speech therapy, OT, and the NAEYC-accredited Village Preschool. Clinicians are certified in areas of expertise that include education, psychology, counseling, speech pathology, occupational therapy, reading, and early childhood development.
