Eligibility

Chester County residents in service area who do not qualify for county's Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). Utilities bill in arrears or due within five days All other resources used up Applicant lives in the residence and is the bill payer Assistance guarantees 30 more days of utilities service or continued stay in the residence.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Service by appointment only.

Offers emergency assistance for individuals and families who are in need of help with rent/mortgage to prevent eviction or utilities/heating fuel. Utilities include electricity, oil, gas, coal, firewood, sewer and water. The maximum amount of each assistance payment is one month's utility usage, one minimum delivery of oil/coal/firewood, one month's rent or one mortgage payment.
