Description

This program helps families overcome challenges that affect the safety, well-being, and care of children at home. It offers guidance on parenting skills like setting daily routines, positive discipline, and building strong relationships. Families also receive support connecting to resources such as stable housing, job opportunities, budgeting help, and mental health services. The program includes three meetings over the course of a couple of months, each lasting 1 to 3 hours, where families come together to make decisions and plan for their future.

Offers educational home-visiting support and resource connections for pregnant women and parents with children ages 0-5, along with assistance in enrolling eligible community members in health insurance (Medicaid, CHIP), food benefits (SNAP), and more. Serving families in Chester County and western Montgomery County, PA, the services help build healthy behaviors, address developmental challenges, and prepare children for kindergarten success.
