Eligibility

In Pennsylvania, the minimum age required to take the test is 18 years old. If a candidate is 16 or 17, they must have an approved age waiver from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), which requires the written request from either an employer, college admissions office, military recruiting office, or director of a state institution indicating a GED is required.

Description

The GED Testing Center @AAJHS is an approved Pearson Vue GED Testing Site where the official GED exam is administered. Adults and eligible minors, living in PA, who have not completed their high school education can take the GED to earn their high school equivalency diploma. Those wishing to take the exam at this site must first visit https://ged.com to create an account, register for an appointment, and pay for their exam.
