Issues certified copies of birth and death certificates with raised seals that are acceptable for numerous purposes. Birth and death records are available starting in 1906. Contact them if the date of birth or death is earlier or unknown.

Fee

Each copy of birth or death certificates costs $20, with a $10 fee if ordering online. Fee waivers are available for members of the US Armed Forces.

Eligibility

You must be an eligible applicant. For birth certificates, eligible applicants must be 16 years of age or older for in-person and mail applications. For death certificates and online applicants for birth and death certificates, eligible applicants must be must be 18 years or older. Eligible applicants include: A) Person named on the birth certificate B) Spouses C) Parents or step-parents D) Siblings E) Grandparents or grandchildren F) Person with legal authority (power of attorney, legal representatives)
