Provides a comprehensive mental health service system for children, adolescents, and their families. Works across different agencies to coordinate services. Helps everyone collaborate to create a plan that meets the child's needs in each area of their life. CASSP is based on several basic principles. Services are to be community based, parents are to be partners in decision-making, agencies are to work together to provide appropriate services, and services are to be culturally competent.
