Eligibility

Serves individuals who have been incarcerated in the last 3 years.

Hours

Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Unscheduled Drop-Ins: Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00am to 2:00pm

Application process

Call during office hours to make a referral or to schedule an intake/assessment interview or visit in person during Drop-In hours.

Fees

HOPE Diversion Services are provided at no charge. Individuals may be responsible for rent, co-pays, etc. Call for details.

Description

Partners with community agencies to utilize public resources and help formerly incarcerated individuals in need. Will work with any individual who has been incarcerated in the last 3 years. Qualifying individuals are provided with resources structured to their specific areas of need. Services include mental health support, assistance with bus passes to work, housing, food assistance, and more.

Offers Reentry, Prevention and Youth Diversion Services for individuals in Allegheny County. Also works within the Allegheny County Jail in the Chaplaincy, Pre-Release, and Activities departments. Offers support and direction to those impacted by incarceration both during their time at Allegheny County Jail and after their release.
