  • Informal education/tutoring
  • Health and physical education
  • Social and recreational activities
  • Outdoor recreation, including summer day programs at Camp Hogan (6 weeks, M-F, $20/week, ages 6-10) or the club
  • Employability programs including Job Ready, Career Explorers, Junior Staff and Apprenticeships for youth from 12 to 18 years.

Providing organization

Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster
Provides daily afterschool programs and services to children ages 6 to 18 years. Programming focuses on academic success, career enhancement, character and leadership development, and healthy lifestyles. Neighborhood-based Clubhouse programs are offered at three sites in Lancaster City and one in Columbia. In addition, the Club serves children at Burrowes, Washington and King Elementary Schools through a community school partnership with the School District of Lancaster.
