Must not have received assistance within the past year Homeless or at risk of homelessness Meet income guidelines Possess a court ordered eviction notice or utility shut off notice Provide identification, proof of income for all household members Demonstrate a reasonable ability to regain self-sufficiency through temporary assistance

Description

Rent and Utility Assistance operates when funds are available by providing temporary financial assistance to eligible County residents with limited income, facing a court ordered eviction or utility shut off. Focuses on Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing. Applicants receive financial assistance, case management, budget counseling, mediation, advocacy and coordination of services. It could take up to 3 weeks to process applications. Applications will not be reviewed until they are fully completed, including all required documentation.
