Description

Provides door-to-door shared ride service for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and others throughout Lancaster County including: * Contracts with numerous social service agencies to provide transportation for their clients * Transportation for senior citizens (65 years and older) who are unable to use, based on a doctor's determination, the bus system or who lack bus service near their residence for trips to the doctor, grocery store. Other trips to places like the theater, restaurants or to visit a friend require that the senior citizen pays 15% of the fare Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP): Provides transportation to medical appointments for Medical Assistance recipients based on the following guidelines: *The appointment is medically necessary and MA reimbursable * The client is using the most cost effective means of transportation (bus, mileage reimbursement or taxi) ADA Services provides transportation for disabled persons who are unable to use RRTA buses.
