Eligibility

Provides services to individuals and families residing only in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, who are experiencing homelessness and are not registered on any sex offender registry.

Guest Registration: 8:00am to 3:00pm Shelter: 24/7

Call first to determine if there's a bed available.

Fees

There are no fees to stay. However, guests with income are asked to contribute 30% of their monthly earnings into an escrow account. This helps them save for a housing down payment or items needed when transitioning into a new home. All escrowed funds are returned to the guest upon leaving the shelter.

Provides an emergency shelter and comprehensive supportive services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Tioga County. Staffed facility offers safe lodging, nutritious meals, and essential hygiene services, including showers, laundry facilities, and bedding. In 2024, a fully accessible facility to better serve individuals with disabilities was opened. Through individualized case management, guests receive personalized assistance with securing stable housing, obtaining vital identification documents, accessing public benefits, pursuing employment opportunities, and developing essential life skills for long-term self-sufficiency. We also connect guests with mental health services, substance use recovery programs, and medical care, while actively collaborating with local healthcare providers to establish on-site medical support. Additional services include transportation assistance, such as bus tokens for travel around the county, for employment, medical appointments, and educational needs, as well as emergency shelter during community crises.
