University of Pittsburgh - Young Writers Institute

Summer and school-year workshops for elementary and high school students to explore writing in a variety of genres, including creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. Includes free-writing exercises, reading work aloud in response groups, visiting writers and field trips, and opportunities for revision through multiple drafts.
