To become a potential adoptive parent, applicants must be at least 21
years old, pass a physical examination, provide proof of financial
stability, and pass a home inspection. If married, applicants must
have been married for two years. All applicants are also screened
through the Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Childline, and the
Federal Bureau of Investigation.
