Protection From Abuse Services
Provides assistance with the Writing and Filing of Protection From Abuse (PFA) Orders; accompaniment and Legal Advocacy to Victims During Criminal and Civil Court Hearings, Including preliminary hearings, trials, indirect criminal contempt hearings, and protection from abuse order hearings. Outreach to Survivors Who Have Had Contact With Law Enforcement and to Plaintiffs of PFA Orders Issued in Centre County to Identify Additional Follow-up Needs. Assists Victims with Preparation and Support During the Investigative Process and Prosecution of Defendants.
