Milton Hershey School
Privately endowed, Milton Hershey School serves children from financial need, grades PK to 12. Admissions criteria: students must come from a family of lower income, be between the ages of 4 and 15 at the time of enrollment, have the ability to learn, free of serious behavioral problems that disrupt live in school or the student home, and must have the ability to participate in the program offered. All students receive, at no-cost, high quality education, nurturing with surrogate family living, meals, clothes, student activities and assistance with health care. College preparatory and vocational-technical studies offered. Graduates may be eligible for college or post-secondary scholarships.
