Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging - PA Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (PAFMNP)

Provides food vouchers to eligible seniors to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables and herbs from approved Farmers' Markets in Pennsylvania. Vouchers are not able to be used on citrus fruits, bananas, pineapples or other produce that is not grown or produced in Pennsylvania. Each eligible senior may receive $25. Available only in the summer months between June and November, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Council of Pittsburgh - Tangible Aid

Helps individuals and families with one-time needs and tangible assistance. Assistance may include help with rent, utilities, prescriptions, and other needs. Help and amounts vary by conference. Also provides vouchers for clothing, household items, and furniture for use at Saint Vincent de Paul thrift stores. Sponsors a food pantry in Butler that serves over 500 families every month. Food bank members can expect to receive vegetables, fruit, meat, dairy products, and non-perishable items. In addition, more than 20 Society Conferences host food pantries and many others provide some form of food assistance.

Operation Homefront - Operation Homefront of PA, DE & NJ

Provides direct services to alleviate a military family's or individual's actual/complete emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and/or recovery support. Emergency financial assistance is in the form of checks paid directly to mortgage lenders, auto mechanics, contractors, hospitals, doctors, dentists and other providers. Council of Churches Schuylkill Haven & Vicinity - Emergency Assistance

As Council funds permit, heat and utilities aid is available and can be provided on a one time basis to any resident family or individual faced with a crisis or tragedy who are unable to make payment. Contact information to secure an application may be accessed from any affiliated church pastor or at Schuylkill Haven Borough Hall. Likewise, pass through travelers incurring an emergency may inquire from the Schuylkill Haven or PA State Police about overnight lodging and food.
