Center for Community Action - Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)

The ESG is broken down into two sections: Rapid Re-housing and Homelessness Prevention. This program provides rental assistance for eligible individuals/families when facing eviction and provides rapid re-housing for individuals/families who are literally homeless. Valley Youth House - Lehigh Valley Rapid Re-Housing for Families (RRH-Families)

Provides housing and supportive services to homeless families in the Lehigh Valley. Services include: - Rent assistance - Assistance with mainstream benefits qualification and application - Case management, life skills training and parenting - Clinical counseling - Transportation assistance - Employment assistance - Utility Assistance - Referral/linkage to other community resources/services

Center for Community Action - PHARE Homeless Prevention Program

Provides rental assistance, utility assistance, security deposits and can pay up to 3 months of rental arrears.

Good Samaritan Services - Emergency and Residential Housing

Emergency Housing - Helps individuals and families get off the streets, out of unsafe environments, and begin their journey towards housing stability. Provides them with a fully secured place to rest, plenty of food, and all the daily necessities of living. Also provides intensive case management to help them fulfill their goals. A typical stay in one of their emergency housing is 30 - 60 days. Residential Housing - Provides transitional services that serve as stepping stones for participants who work through the 60 day program. They own several properties across Lancaster Counties which are used to provide individuals and families housing at a much lower than typical rental rate while providing participants continued case management. This empowers individuals and families to develop a budget, increase savings, and fulfill their personal goals prior to moving into permanent housing.

Third Street Alliance for Women and Children - Homeless Services

Emergency shelter and transitional housing program provides shelter for homeless single women and families. Program focuses on identifying the barriers that keep their residents from reaching their housing goals. This is a community living facility. Each resident has their own bedroom that is shared with their children. The kitchen, bathrooms, and lounges are utilized by all residents.

Clients will complete an assessment with an intake caseworker and will then be referred to the appropriate program.

Central Susquehanna Opportunities, Inc. - Housing Assistance

Provides services to assist with housing needs. Services include homelessness prevention, help to regain housing stability; Street Outreach to connect unsheltered homeless individuals or families with emergency shelter, critical health and mental health services; and Rapid Rehousing for quick return to permanent housing. May also help with your security deposit and/or rent.
