The ESG is broken down into two sections: Rapid Re-housing and Homelessness Prevention. This program provides rental assistance for eligible individuals/families when facing eviction and provides rapid re-housing for individuals/families who are literally homeless. This program runs on an 18-month cycle with renewals.

Families with children needing shelter should call HELP Ministries at 717-238-2851 between 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Offers services for supervised living, life skills assessment and training, individual and group counseling, case management, and mentoring.

Provides temporary shelter for single adult women and for families with children. Certified Peer Specialist services are available to shelter guests.

Provides standardized, focused access to homeless services for individuals and families without a stable, safe and affordable home in Lackawanna County. Services include comprehensive intake and assessment and linkages to case management, housing and supportive services.

Provides shelter and case management services for families experiencing homelessness.

A faith-based shelter for men.

Provides assessment and intake for McKean County residents experiencing homelessness. Program is part of the Coordinated Entry system for the Western Pennsylvania Continuum of Care for homelessness services.

Provides assistance in getting temporary shelter for up to a week at local hotel.

Provides an emergency shelter for men, women and children. Also provides a separate shelter for teens.

Offers temporary emergency shelter on a first-come, first-served basis for 14 men experiencing homelessness. Low Barrier bed available if someone comes in after curfew to get out of the elements. After screening, each guest receives a warm meal, access to a shower, and a place to sleep. Supportive services available.

Standardized and coordinated assessment and referral service for everyone who is seeking services from the network of homeless services in Northumberland County. Clients will complete an assessment with an intake caseworker and will then be referred to the appropriate program.

Serves as the PA 211 provider for the South Central region of Pennsylvania. Provides comprehensive health and human service information and referral services, connecting individuals to thousands of community services, agencies, support groups, and hotlines to assist with their needs.

Provides emergency shelter, rental assistance, and case management.

Provides services to assist with housing needs. Services include homelessness prevention, help to regain housing stability; Street Outreach to connect unsheltered homeless individuals or families with emergency shelter, critical health and mental health services; and Rapid Rehousing for quick return to permanent housing.
