Capital Area Transit's (CAT) Paratransit Division provides Share-A-Ride Transportation service to County residents age 65 or older who cannot use the fixed route bus system or who reside in areas not served by community-based transportation programs.
Works with families in crisis to provide basic needs to maintain families and aid in reunifying families. Considers assistance with home repairs required for health and safety. Provides diapers, clothing, hygiene, and food. Providing beds and bedding to children is also a major priority. Also assist with transportation for medical reasons.
