Assists individuals to submit Dollar Energy applications for utility payment assistance

Provides financial assistance for medical and therapy expenses, utilities, and food. Also offers a sensory gym, emotional support, social events, and physical activities.

Provides grants to families living on low incomes to pay their heating bills. The grant is a one-time payment sent directly to the utility company/fuel provider. These grants range from $200 to $1,000 based on household size, income, and fuel type. Households without heat or in immediate danger of being without heat may also qualify for crisis grants in addition to the LIHEAP Cash Grants.

Provides application assistance for utility bill payment assistance programs including LIHEAP and Crisis Utility Bill Grants, UESF Utility Bill and Oil Grants, PGW's Customer Responsibility Program, and PECO's Customer Assistance Program. Also assists with Weatherization Program and energy and budge counseling. Refers clients who may need additional financial assistance to pay utility bills to other agencies and/or community organizations that can assist.

Provides assistance to households that have experienced economic insecurity and have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. ERAP provides tenant households assistance with rental costs and utilities to include past money owed. This funding source may be different from other county COVID-19 Emergency Rent Payament Assistance Programs. In some cases both funds may be used. County case managers will be able to offer guidance.

Provides utility assistance, employment aid, and short-term transportation assistance.

Provides 22 agencies under one roof providing an array of services and supports, including mental health and drug and alcohol counseling, a food pantry, and other agencies that serve families, seniors, and veterans.

Provides emergency assistance for financially struggling individuals and families in crisis seeking assistance for such things as rent, household utility expenses and similar miscellaneous living needs.

Provides emergency assistance such as help with emergency food, rent and utilities on a case by case basis contingent upon available funds. Also makes referrals to other county agencies and programs.

Offers limited financial assistance for utility bills; also provides assistance with applications for Dollar Energy and CAP programs.

Provides temporary assistance with housing and utility bills for Conemaugh Township residents only.

Provides fuel assistance (electric, natural gas, propane, kerosene, fuel oil, wood, pellets, coal) to people in an emergency. In most cases a shut-off notice is required.

Provides emergency aid, in the form of either a direct grant (a cash gift, not to be repaid) or an interest-free loan, and by giving college scholarships to children of soldiers.

Provides emergency financial assistance with past due rent, new lease deposit, and utility bills.

Energy conservation measures are installed to homes for utility customers experiencing high kilowatt usage. Energy education services are also provided.

Provides LIHEAP crisis service involving: supply shortages, repair/replacement of non-functioning primary heating systems, fuel lines, broken windows and pipe-thawing.
