A) If you get Lifeline for phone service, you can get the benefit for one mobile phone or one home phone, but not both. B) If you get Lifeline for Internet service, you can get the benefit for your mobile phone or your home connection, but not both. C) If you get Lifeline for bundled phone and internet service, you can get the benefit for your mobile phone bundled service or your home bundled service, but not both. D) Your household cannot get Lifeline from more than one phone or internet company.. You are only allowed to get one Lifeline benefit per household, not per person. If more than one person in your household gets Lifeline, you are breaking the FCC’s rules and will lose your benefit.

• Lifeline: Provides a credit of $11.75 on the regular monthly telephone bill. Persons are eligible if they receive SSI or TANF or their yearly income meets Lifeline guidelines. Persons eligible for this program receive a $20 credit towards the connection charge.
• Lifeline 135: Provides a credit of up to $9.25 on the regular monthly telephone bill. Customer can purchase Optional Services (Caller ID, Call Waiting, etc.) and certain packages that include local toll and /or optional services. Persons eligible for this program receive a $20 credit towards the line connection charge.
• Universal Telephone Assistance Program (UTAP): Helps Verizon Pennsylvania low-income customers pay some or all of their telephone bill's basic charges.
