Enforces laws throughout Franklin County and provides services including concealed carry permits, personal property sales, real estate sales, and sheriff civil service.

Assists other law-enforcement agencies in Berks County in activities such as the Berks County Drug Task Force, Operation Nightlight, crowd control, traffic control, K-9 searches for fugitives, narcotics and explosives, and security for community events. Conduct levies and sales of personal property and real estate. Issues Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms and License to Sell Firearms.
