CADB is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Bethlehem through resident-led neighborhood revitalization initiatives focused on community-identified priorities. CADB staff provide direct support to low- to moderate-income tenants and homeowners in Bethlehem facing housing challenges. Current services and programs include Southside Tomorrow, a neighborhood-led community development initiative; an exterior rehabilitation and weatherization program; a tenant advocacy and mediation program; support for the Alley House Program; and leadership training and support for the Pembroke Choice Neighborhoods community ambassadors.

Offers classroom enhancement education via volunteers who deliver relevant, hands-on experiences that give students knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Provides advice sessions in person, by phone, or a video conference call with experienced volunteers who can help enhance and develop the tools, skills, and confidence needed to be successful in today’s job market. Also provides free financial consultations.

Provides services for GED preparation and GED test expenses; career readiness workshops, resume development assistance, mock interviews, job finding assistance, and in-person work experiences; information and referrals concerning applying and paying for college, locating free or low-cost training programs, and apprenticeship opportunities.

Provides financial literacy education and one-on-one money management counseling

Offers a program for youth ages 12 to 17, providing life skills training, trauma-informed care, financial literacy training, and workforce development. Youth enrolled in the program are required to be present at NOMO North Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

Provides financial counseling to help persons shift from debt management to saving. Offers sessions covering money management and budgeting, banking and basic financial transactions, credit reports and using credit wisely, consumer protection and debt collection, student loans, bankruptcy, negotiation, investments and future planning, homeownership, insurance, and benefits.

Provides resources to clients to assist with interpersonal skills, proper hygiene practices, obtaining identification, obtaining a GED and other educational goals, resume building, self-esteem workshops, mental health awareness, recovery awareness, parenting skills, nutritional training, and budgeting.

Provides budget counseling and instruction as well as providing referrals if needed

Offers a high school internship program focused on entrepreneurship, technology, and financial literacy. Participants will receive a $595 stipend throughout the school year and a paid summer internship. Interns will have the opportunity to learn all facets of business operations first hand. Those required to complete community service hours can do so through our program.

Empowers and coaches low-income families to attain a family-sustaining wage in order to achieve and maintain economic self-sufficiency and live free of public assistance. Provides resources to bridge the gap between public assistance and stability.

Assists participants to become financially independent and self-sufficient. The program focuses on education, job training, job placement, and addressing other family needs.

Provides a long-term recovery program that includes food, clothing, and shelter as well as participation in Bible study, group and individual counseling, parenting and budget classes, adult education, and job and housing search.

Provides up to 18 months of case management services and rapid re-housing funding. Case Management Services consist of life skills case management, with an emphasis on money management, self-awareness, parenting, decision making, goal setting, increasing income through education, and significant job training to attain employment at a livable wage.

Provides information and guidance for people who want to develop and preserve assets or need assistance in obtaining and responsibly using credit, paying bills, reducing their debt burden, and managing their financial resources.

Provides financial and credit counseling as well as coaching services to assist people with budgeting, bankruptcy, credit report review, mortgage delinquency issues and foreclosure prevention and mortgage planning.

Provides classes to help individuals get out of poverty.

Provides financial literacy training as well as guidance to develop and achieve financial goals.
