GECAC's Money Works for You program is designed to help low-income individuals and families save money through a matched savings program. Participants receive a 1:1 match on their savings. Those saving $500 will be matched with $500 for a total of $1,000 for a home purchase, small business or college tuition. Participants will participate in a financial and money management workshop series.

Offering both individual and group budgeting education, we'll show you how to balance and maintain your budget to achieve financial success.

Provides resources to clients to assist with interpersonal skills, proper hygiene practices, obtaining identification, obtaining a GED and other educational goals, resume building, self-esteem workshops, mental health awareness, recovery awareness, parenting skills, nutritional training, and budgeting.

Operates an after-school program from September to May. Offers summer enrichment program at a designated Harrisburg City Park. Provides homework assistance, tutoring, one-on-one and group mentoring, culinary arts classes, sewing classes, financial literacy classes, literacy circle, arts and crafts, CPR/First Aid training, various recreational activities, and much more.

Additionally, offers an opportunity to get licensed and trained in these areas at a subsidized cost, providing a pathway for individuals to build a career in financial services while making a positive impact on others' lives.

Offers basic adult education in the areas of reading, writing, math, computer literacy, financial literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), and High School Equivalency/GED test preparation.

Provides a computer-based instruction program that provides the client an opportunity to complete the ten lessons of the Money Smart Training Program and receive a certificate.
