Provides a substitute family life experience for a child who needs care for a temporary or extended period. Works toward the primary goal of reuniting families or ensuring that the child will leave foster care for a permanent placement.

Based at Barkley Elementary School, PAPA's Move Ahead after-school program helps students in grades 2 through 5 strengthen their academic and social skills. The program operates Monday through Thursday from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m. It offers:

• Help with homework and study skills development.
• Social interaction skills development.
• Daily recreational and enrichment activities.
• Monthly trips and workshops.
