Also offers special needs programs.

Leadership Program is a health, fitness, prevention/education and self-esteem enhancement program. The goal of the program is to help boys and girls develop and adopt a healthy attitude and lifestyle, as well as acquire and maintain a positive self-concept, sound decision-making skills and mentor relationship.

Enable youth to improve their functioning in the home, school and community by providing structured treatment services during the afternoon and evening hours. Provides therapeutic activities such as: social skills activities, sharing and listening activities, partner time activities, therapeutic recreation, homework time, community field trips and family outreach.

Provides before and after school enrichment. If a child is enrolled in the School-Age Enrichment program, per request, they can be matched with a pre-qualified Big Brother or Big Sister. A healthy breakfast and snack is included in your daily rate as well as transportation to and from school.

• After-school child care

Provides child care services for school-age children in the New Kensington-Arnold, Freeport Area, Allegheny Valley, Burrell, and Kiski Area School Districts.

Offers childcare, preschool, full and part-time, before and after school program, and summer camps.

Offers after school programming for up to 100 Patterson Elementary School students. Guest speakers visit the after school program to make educational presentations, particularly those focused on health and safety. Services are offered to latchkey, extended day students, and their siblings. All activities are available on weekdays only. Activities include homework help, recreation period of games, leadership skills development, girls and boys clubs, and anger management group training.

Offers a seasonal day off school camp, providing activities and supervision for kids when schools are closed. Activities include art, music, sports, games, and swimming.

Before and after school care for elementary age students attending Pen Argyl School District

Before/After School Enrichment Program is available for children in grades 1-5, Monday through Friday. Available 6:30am to 6:00pm at YMCA branch in Allentown School District. Program is school-based in the East Penn and Parkland School Districts and is available 7:00am to 6:00pm. Full-time and part-time options are available. Registration required. Fees vary. Provides free access to healthy snacks and meals.

Offering before and after school child care for Shikellamy School District students, in Kindergarten through 6th grades. Service is offered at Beck Elementary School in Sunbury and Priestley Elementary School in Northumberland. Students can use their time to complete homework or participate in physical activity, games and crafts. Hours of care are Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 8:30am and 2:30pm to 6:00pm.
