Provides probation and parole services to adult and juvenile offenders for Bradford County judicial district. The primary focus of the department is to provide supervision, care and rehabilitation to adults and juveniles sentenced or released to the community, consistent with the protection of the public interest and community.

Provides protection to the community through field-based supervision and treatment of offenders.

Offers individualized treatment using supervision, community resources, and programs that will direct individuals toward a successful reintegration into the community and to aid the court in sentencing and treatment programs.

Monitors criminal offenders living and working in the community. Aids offenders in their rehabilitation into the community and ensures the safety and protection of both victims and residents through probation/parole officers. Provides the following services: Pre-release, Presentence Investigation, DAPP, EM/HA, SCRAM, SCRAMX, and payment division. Also includes: Sexual Offenders, Mental Health Offenders, DRC, DUI, Probation with Restrictive Conditions, and Work Release.

Monitors offenders serving court-ordered probation. For juvenile offenders, they work closely with law enforcement and Children and Youth Services.

Supervises those convicted offenders who have been placed on probation by the Court. Probation is a sentencing alternative that allows the offender to remain in the community under the supervision of a Probation Officer subject to conditions deemed appropriate by the Court. Parole is a conditional release of an offender who has served part of their sentence in prison to serve the balance of the sentence under the supervision of a Parole Officer.

Provides individualized wraparound services to justice-involved women to help them with meet basic needs, find employment, and access stable housing. Provides comprehensive case management services.

Administers supervision and provides offenders with the tools to make positive change and become productive members of society.

Investigations for the court and probation and parole supervision. Collect restitution for victims of crime.

Supervises all adult offenders ordered by the Court of Common Pleas with probation and/or parole.

Monitors offenders serving court-ordered probation.

Manages background investigations and supervision of offenders. Collects monies from all probation, parole, ARD, PWOV, Community Service sentences. Provides a sexual offender program and ARD expungement.

Youth in this program receive 22 to 25 hours of community based activities per week as well as intensive supervision. Activities include sessions focusing on drug and alcohol issues, sexual health, career development, community resources, and skill development. Additionally, all youth participate in activities coordinated in conjunction with Philadelphia organizations and grassroots efforts. Youth workers monitor school attendance and curfew, and report adjustment and recommendations back to the court.

Providing supervision and services aimed at rehabilitating the re-entrant, recommendations and cooperation to the court, and protection and education of the community.

This office also supervises those offenders placed on house arrest, work release, furlough, bail supervision or those who are ordered to perform community service. The Probation Officer makes an appropriate referral for the offender to receive the proper treatment or counseling.

Probation services are a mandate of the Court of Common Pleas; ensuring the legal accountability of those individuals under its supervision. Probation services include individualized direction, client centered goal coordination, the effective use of community-based resources and the swift and consistent administration of prescribed sanctions.
