Provides a rehabilitative program in collaboration with community service providers to empower incarcerated individuals to transform their thinking and behaviors while preparing for their future. Participants live in communal, faith-based housing units in Allegheny County Jail and meet for over 120 hours of class and group work.

Answers questions about prisons and jails, including how to set up visits and calls, how to find reentry resources, and how to address medical concerns. Helps families to document concerns about facilities, which can result in the dispatch of a trained Prison Monitor.

Helps ex-offenders through one-to-one mentoring, information and referral, and family activities.

Provides educational services in the Bucks County Correctional Facility, the Community Corrections Center, and the community for re-entrants. Provides basic literacy and GED prep, cognitive behavioral skills instruction, decision making, and employment readiness.

Provides individualized wraparound services to justice-involved women to help them with meet basic needs, find employment, and access stable housing. Provides comprehensive case management services.

Specialized treatment court that identifies and intercepts non-violent adult offenders with mental illness or a co-occurring disorder. FACT provides comprehensive evidence-based treatment to high risk individuals with a criminal background, severe mental illness as well as Drug and Alcohol issues. Prison re-entry programrovides life skills counseling to inmates with mental illness and prepares them for re-entry to the community. IMED (Intercept Model for Early Intervention) provides services to those 18 years and older with Medicaid who have come to the attention of the Criminal Justice System via police and/or magisterial involvement.

Prison ministry team visits those who are incarcerated

Provides services that include pre-job guidance, job training, ex-offender programs, mentoring and coaching on parenting issues such as the navigation of child custody, child support, visitation and parenting plans. Facilitates fatherhood workshops in both community and correctional settings.

Provides services for the mentally ill offenders. Probation officers and mental health workers jointly supervise individuals. A psychiatrist and psychologist are available for consultation and evaluations.

Provides pre-release mentoring services. Arranges workshops that educate incarcerated women about child custody issues, employment, housing, and health care. Aims to restore a sense of hope and dignity, and empower clients to make positive and responsible life choices.

Screens clients to determine treatment/non-treatment needs. Provide supportive counseling and assistance with referrals. Provide re-entry services for the substance abusing/dependent client who is transitioning from incarceration or fulfilling criminal justice mandates. Monitor drug/alcohol use by performing breathalyzer tests and urine drug screens and report the results to the assigned probation officer or designee of the Court. Provide case management services to clients who have been in the criminal justice system. Case management provides linkage to treatment facilities if identified; recovery support services including; tangible needs (food, clothing); community resources (self-help groups); various housing needs; education; employment and training; and medical care.

Provides a comprehensive residential program for women struggling with life-controlling problems, such as drug and alcohol addiction, eating disorders, and sexual abuse issues.

Prison provides minimum to maximum security levels. Average length of stay is approximately 70 days. Those committed and sentenced can be held for periods up to 2 years less one day. The prison offers a wide range of opportunities designed to assist those incarcerated in changing their lifestyle to include educational classes and reentry services to assist them in becoming productive members of their communities. Services available to those incarcerated: Prison Physician: 24-hour medical coverage and emergency services through PrimeCare Medical. Prison Psychiatrist: Mental health and crisis counseling through PrimeCare Medical. Drug and Alcohol (D&A) Education: Individual and group D&A education, guest speakers; weekly Narcotics and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings through community volunteers. Anger and stress management classes. Parenting classes. Individual and group spiritual counseling and services through daily clergy visits Reentry Classes

Works with people who are serving time at the Chester County Correctional Center and are returning to the Coatesville area.

Provides community based services to individuals who suffer from mental illness, who are incarcerated in the Philadelphia Prison System or who have a history of incarceration. The program works in conjunction with the Department of Behavioral Health Services Targeted Case Management Unit to promote mental health awareness and to improve the lives of those who suffer from mental illness.

Provides pro bono or very low-cost civil legal representation in administrative, state, and federal courts, SLAAY aims to fill gaps in the access to justice within Northcentral PA.

Offers mentoring for women in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility to help prepare them for a successful transition back home.

Ensures that a Rabbi visits each prison every two weeks to make sure that the Jews incarcerated at these facilities are given their rights to religious services, including anything from kosher meals to menorahs during Chanukah. Provides for observance of holidays and other religious activities.

Provides workshops, recreation and mentors to children who are experiencing one or both parents who are incarcerated.

Provides justice-involved people with education and prevention programming, mentorship, case management and referrals for treatment services, and advocacy resulting in enhanced relational skills and reintegration within the community. Volunteers assist with fundraising events and/or grant writing.

Provides pastoral care to inmates, their families, and jail staff through the chaplain, including approximately 1,000 individual pastoral sessions each year. Offers oversight of daily volunteer-led Bible studies and coordinates weekly worship services for all faiths. Supports inmates and their families through a Christmas gift program for children, a Christmas party for inmates with cookies from local churches, and individual correspondence Bible studies. Conducts mission interpretation visits to local churches and creates opportunities for inmates who want to change and are open to connecting with a congregation. Offers training and guidance to individuals who wish to visit the jail as a Christian witness.

Assists formerly incarcerated citizens in finding a home, church, job, housing, mentoring, and spiritual advising. Also sends letters to those incarcerated in county, state, and federal correctional institutions. Volunteer opportunities available.

Offers multiple services to inmates including Assessment & Evaluation Services, Psycho-Educational Group Programming, as well as Crisis Intervention Services. Identifies, screens, assesses, and evaluates inmates who would benefit from participating in a variety of services designed to target substance abuse and mental health issues.
