Also provides services beyond those of normal enforcement procedures including community resource programs, safety programs for students, and counseling, upon request, for students considered at risk for legal involvement. Provides animal law enforcement, issues temporary no parking signs and business licenses.

Investigates public inquiries related to criminal complaints; works with local police concerning complaints, and offers referrals.

Conducts the following investigations county-wide: child abuse, elder abuse, financial, special criminal, and corrupt organization. Handles fugitives and extradition, forensic examination of mobile phones and computers, central booking, drug asset forfeiture, DUI grant(includes checkpoint and cops in shops), precious metals reporting, assisting Lebanon County police with criminal investigations and crime scenes, naloxone grant, manage the Rx drug drop boxes in Lebanon County, and manages the county accident reconstruction team.

Receives, investigate, and works to resolve complaints related to consumer issues, health care issues, insurance fraud, violations of the Pennsylvania Do Not Call Law, SPAM email and junk mail, and numerous other subjects. Preventing crimes.
