Provides applications for compensation to eligible victims and assistance to complete these applications.

Enhances the quality, coordination, and planning within the criminal and juvenile justice systems to facilitate the delivery of services to victims of crime and to increase the safety of communities. Offers grants to organizations through a wide variety of programs. Provides victims' compensation for individual victims of crime.

Offers assistance with filing claims for monetary victim compensation and medical expenses, etc.

Assists clients who qualify apply for crime victim compensation. Victims may qualify for monetary funds to help compensate for items like lost wages, medical expenses, therapeutic counseling, crime scene clean up, and other crime related losses.

Offers Court Accompaniment, Courtroom Orientation, Court tours for the children, Preparation for Court Testimony, Supportive Counseling and Notifications during the criminal process, assistance with Victim Impact Statements, claims for restitution, filing for the Victim Compensation Assistance Program, and Enrollment in the Inmate Status Notification Program.

Ensures victims and witnesses of crimes receive all the services afforded under the Bill of Rights. Services include help with filing, detailing important information throughout the process, and referrals. Compensation assistance may also cover any non-reimbursable medical costs, loss of wages, loss of ability to earn wages, funeral expenses, relocation expenses, and crime scene clean-up cost.

Provides financial assistance. Offers medical expenses, loss of earnings, stolen benefit cash, funeral expenses, loss of support (homicide cases only), crime-scene cleanup expenses, relocation expenses and counseling expenses.

Provides adult and juvenile court accompaniment, restitution assistance, and crime victim compensation assistance.

Supports victims/survivors and their eligible family members by providing information and assistance to ease the financial burdens they may face as a result of a crime through application to the PA Victims' Compensation Program. Advocates provide trauma informed support through the application process and management of the claim should the survivor want continued support.
