Offers a 24-hour domestic violence crisis hotline, legal and medical advocacy, individual and group counseling, case management, adolescent and child counseling, pet-centric services, safety planning, information and referral, and a community education/prevention program.

Partners with the majority of Montgomery County police departments to assist officers who respond to domestic abuse calls. Provides 24/7 on-site domestic violence advocacy. Once an officer has secured the scene, advocates work with victims and their children to provide safety planning, information about and assistance with the PFA process, court accompaniment, and referrals to resources as needed.

Provides legal advocacy through court accompaniment, legal options counseling, direct advocacy for women seeking temporary and final PFA Orders, assistance with Indirect Criminal Complaints, systems advocacy to effect change, and access to PFAD at terminals in five of our offices.

When needed, the family advocate accompanies the child and family to medical appointments and court hearings. The family advocate acts as the child and family go to person and continues to work with the family as a support person throughout the life of the case.

Provides comprehensive and confidential services to victims of domestic violence and their families, including emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling, children's programming, safety planning, accompaniment to courts and hospitals, limited transportation and food assistance, advocacy on behalf of victims with other community systems, and legal assistance.

Provides information, referrals and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault who choose to seek justice through the legal system. The advocate does not give legal advice, but shares information about the law including what legal options are available, and how to assess legal recourse. Provides information on Protection for Abuse orders. Program participants choose what, if any legal action they wish to take. Counselor/Advocates are available to accompany a victim of domestic or sexual violence to the hospital for an examination and/or treatment.

Provides advocacy and accompaniment through the criminal and civil court system. Legal Advocates assist victims by explaining court procedures, providing case updates, and accompanying them to the Police Department, District Attorney’s Office, and criminal court proceedings.

Provides confidential assistance to any victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other crime, recent or past. Services include emergency domestic violence shelter, crisis services, transitional and supportive housing, medical and legal advocacy, civil legal representation, counseling for adults and children, and prevention education.

By learning skills members learn how to save money and problem solve. Individuals often support each other in decisions and in practical sharing and caring. Child care can be provided.

The FSI Justice Project is a civil legal representation office that provides free representation to low-income victims and survivors of domestic violence in civil matters such as divorce, custody, child support, and housing among other things.

Provides assistance with Protection from Abuse (PFA) orders, court accompaniment through Municipal District Courts, Common Pleas, and the criminal court support and accompaniment; assistance with Crime Victim Compensation; Mobile Legal Advocate works with all law enforcement and MDJ staff.
