Maintains civil records for the court and is responsible for the creation, maintenance and certification of matters pending or determined by the court, including certain reporting and collection duties to state agencies. Processes passport applications and files records pertaining to divorce decrees. Operates as the filing office for the Civil Division of the Court of Common Pleas.

Filing office for cases before the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas involving Custody; Divorce; New Suits; Civil Appeals; Landlord/Tenant Appeals; Liens, Judgments and Satisfactions; Mortgage Foreclosures; Protection From Abuse; Change of Name; Mental Health Commitments. Host local Naturalization Ceremonies in coordination with U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services. NOT A HELP CENTER. Office must maintain neutrality and CANNOT offer legal advice or provide assistance in preparing filings.
