Provides an advocate for persons admitted to Warren State Hospital who are experiencing a mental crisis.
Provides advocacy for people with disabilities and their families by monitoring and taking action to assure personal rights; acting as an impartial source of assistance for conflict resolution; evaluating the adequacy of policies, procedures and services; providing individual training and consultation; and providing referrals for legal information and services.

Monitors the treatment, services, discharge planning, and benefit information (such as Social Security and Medicaid) provided to inpatients by Norristown State Hospital.
