Social Skills Training
Provides training sessions for parents of children with disabilities on all aspects of special education, including the Federal Laws (IDEA and NCLB) and the State Law (PA Regulations and Standards) in order to ensure that their children receive a Free Appropriate Public Education. Trains parents individually on how to access information on education, disabilities and resources available regarding children with disabilities through on-line services.

Early Intervention for Children With Disabilities/Delays
Provides educational programs for students with special needs throughout Bucks County. Programs include the delivery of itinerant and classroom services to students with disabilities. State Early Intervention provides services to three- to five-year-old children with special needs. The Bucks IU also provides educational services to the children in institutional facilities located in Bucks County. Additionally, the Bucks IU provides Adult Programs and Services for individuals with disabilities over the age of 21.

Provides preschool special education services for children ages 3 until they enter kindergarten. Children are screened and evaluated so that those identified can receive services in the best placement for them, whether it is at home, a caregiver's house, a preschool, or specialized preschool. If it is determined that the child would benefit from a structured preschool classroom, they arrange for placement in one of the contracted classrooms at the Infant Development Program in Clinton County.
